Ogie Alcasid won’t let Michelle Van Eimeren give an interview to ABS-CBN

Former Miss Australia Michelle Van Eimeren will literally feel like she’s on top of the world when she marries boyfriend Mark Murrow at 3 p.m. this Saturday.

The ceremony will be held at the summit of Wollongong’s Mt Keira. The mountain is 464 meters high and boasts expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and rainforests.

ABS-CBN contacted Michelle a day before the wedding to find out if she would consider giving an interview. The news team didn’t want to steal footage and risk upsetting the bride-to-be, so it sought Michelle’s permission.

“Oh you’re not upsetting me at all!” Michelle seemed happy and upbeat and said, “I’ll talk to you. I don’t want to let anyone down. I just can’t talk right now because I have to go to my eldest daughter’s High School orientation. But I’ll call you back later.”

Minutes later, it was ex-husband Ogie Alcasid who rang to say Michelle would not be giving any interviews. “We’re from GMA. You know how it is. If we give you an interview, GMA will give us a hard time.” When it was pointed out that Michelle is not a talent of the rival network, Ogie turned to Michelle and asked what she wanted to do. PGB Exclusive: Manny Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo swimming pool escapade

I was supposed to write this exclusive last night but I don’t want to bore my readers with all the Krista Ranillo stuff. But since photos of Manny and Krista which were taken in Baguio leaked, I feel that it is time to write this scoop.

A very reliable source who works at the Baguio Country Club informed me that during the height of Manny Pacquiao’s training, the boxing superstar and Krista Ranillo were seen cuddling in the swimming pool of BCC at 6 in the morning! No wonder why Krista was shivering at the photo above! Kidding!

Actor Johnny Delgado dies at 61

Actor Johnny Delgado died at the age of 61 earlier this afternoon at around 1:20 p.m. due to complications brought by lymphoma. Juan Marasigan Feleo in real life, he is the husband of actress-director Laurice Guillen and father of actress Ina Feleo.

Movie Review: Ang Tanging Pamilya

I was not able to watch Ang Tanging Pamilya on its first showing day as I had a very important appointment. So, I decided to watch it the next day.

Calling Ang Tanging Pamilya funny would be an understatement. The actors in in this movie are indeed impressive.

However, I have some reservations with regard to the directorial job in this movie. A comedy film does not end in merely being funny. It needs to have a story.

I felt that the film’s director, Wenn Deramas, failed to capture the now elevated sense of humor of moviegoers. Don’t get me wrong, the film was funny but it was lacking somehow. Perhaps, I was influenced so much by Kimmy Dora that I use it as the new measure of comedy films.

Ang Tanging Pamilya is very lucky to have a star-studded cast. Their star power somehow fill up for the director’s lackluster comedic timing. Ai-ai delas Alas, Erap Estrada, and Toni Gonzaga were the film’s saving grace. Truth be told, they saved this lackluster film from its total demise.
