Noynoy Aquino hinted on running for president

With Mar Roxas willing to slide down as Vice President should Liberal Party chooses Noynoy Aquino as standard bearer, Noynoy supporters grow in number as call for Noynoy’s bid for presidency gets louder.
Since there are no work and classes today, I was able to watch TV Patrol. What I thought would be another rehash interview on Noynoy’s bid for presidency turned out to be a major hint that Noynoy would indeed run for president.
I thought I was the only one who felt that way. When Julius Babao expressed the same idea via his Twitter account, my impression that Noynoy would run for president was somewhat concretized.

Janice de Belen to Marian Rivera: "Get Speech Lessons!"
Reports have it that Sis co-host Janice de Belen does not like how Marian Rivera enunciates her words. Janice happens to be a co-ward of Marian’s under Popoy Caritativo.
According to reports, Janice told her friends how Marian necessitates enrolling in a crash course in speech. Apparently, Janice does not know hot to tell Marian as the latter might take it against her.
I am not really a huge fan of Marian’s but I like her though. I get bothered sometimes at Marian’s enunciation but I think Janice went overboard by telling her friends that Marian needs an overhaul. I mean, she’s no authority (more…)

Star Magic Ball: Who’s dating who? (Pictures Inside)
I love attending balls. The last ball I attended was back in March in the Garden Ballroom of the EDSA Shagri-la.

Did Anne Curtis get a boob job?
A friend who attended Anne Curtis’ latest press conference noticed that Anne’s breasts apparently got bigger. She told me that she thinks Anne got a boob job.
I am no anatomy expert and I do not know if breasts could grow naturally. After all, Anne is still a growing girl, I think.

Many people are urging Liberal Party member Noynoy Aquino to run for the highest position in the land. Apparently, Mar Roxas has long declared his intention to join the presidential race. The question now is who will be Liberal Party’s standard bearer in the upcoming presidential elections?

Tito Jun Lozada cries over PGMA and FG Mike’s non-inclusion in NBN-ZTE charge sheet
For those who know my true identity, this post is quite personal. Or something to that effect. No, I’m just kidding.
Rodolfo “Jun” Lozada said Friday that the Office of the Ombudsman’s decision to clear First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo of wrongdoing in the botched US$329-million National Broadband Network (NBN) deal with ZTE Corp. was unacceptable.
“Hindi ko matanggap-tanggap na ganyan lang ang mangyayari at nagtataka ako kung saan nila hinugot ang findings na iyan. Hindi nila kami tinawag dyan sa kahit anong imbestigasyon sa Ombudsman eh (This is unacceptable and I’m just wondering where they based these findings. They never called us to testify in any Ombudsman investigation),” Tito Jun said when asked in a radio interview yesterday.

Iza Calzado’s non-showbiz boyfriend has been the subject of almost all tabloids. No one knows his true identity aside from the fact that he is a grandson of hotelier Angelo King. Many gave useless clues that his initials are A. K. as almost all of Angelo King’s grandsons’ initials are A.K.
Iza tagged along her boyfriend in Ogie Alcasid’s birthday party. It was reported that Iza exclaimed, “bakit may press dito,” since he brought his boyfriend to the party.
I got a picture of Iza and his boyfriend. Since Iza’s boyfriend is way older that I am, I do not know him. I had to ask some of my friends who had been mainstays in the affluent scene to ask who Iza’s socialite boyfriend is. My friends identified him as Atticus King.

PGMA and FG Mike Arroyo absolved in NBN-ZTE scandal
Did FG Mike Arroyo yet utter again his infamous “back off” statement to his dear friend Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez? Seemingly, the Honorable Madame Ombuds(wo)man failed to include, intentionally or otherwise, FG Mike Arroyo in the charge sheet for the NBN-ZTE scandal.
Apparently, the resolution of the Office of the Ombudsman recommended graft charges only against former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin Abalos Sr. and former National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) director-general Romulo Neri.

Henry Sy remains RP’s richest person
Forbes Asia has released once again their list of richest persons for 2008. Topping the list for the Richest Persons in the Philippines is mall mogul Henry Sy.
This year, 25 tycoons are richer, including nine of the top 10. This year’s biggest gainer is mall mogul Henry Sy, once again the nation’s richest person. His net worth increased $700 million to $3.8 billion, as shares of his main holding company, SM Investments, appreciated by 28% since our last list. Another notable winner is David Consunji, whose net worth jumped to $300 million, up from $105 million, as the stock price for his construction firm, DMCI, more than doubled.

Hilary Duff and Penn Badgely, KISSING!
I have previously blogged that my favorite childhood actress, Hilary Duff, will be gracing the cast of one of my favorite shows, Gossip Girl.
Hilary plays Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).
It seems like Serena van der Woodsen has some major competition!

Dingdong Dantes’ sacrilegious photos
The set of pictures depicting the holy image of Jesus Christ has caused the ire of many, including this author. it is to the author’s view that actor Dingdong Dantes has gone beyond the boundaries of art <slash> personal gratification and sacrilege.
Dingdong is in no way doing a role pf Jesus Christ and yet, he opted to pose as Jesus in his Bookazine for Yes! Magazine. Vain, much? This author could let go of the excuse of vanity but at the expense of a religious figure (calling Jesus a religious figure would be an understatement, he is GOD!)?
UPDATE: For those doubting the veracity of this article (like the first commenter), an article had been published by a mainstream newspaper, Manila Bulletin.

Carla Abellana to host Starstruck with Dingdong Dantes; Jolina Magdangal, out?
This blog was the first one to announce that Carla Abellana will be in a hosting gig with Dingdong Dantes. That blog entry was posted on July 24th, when Carla was just starting Rosalinda. Now, the news has been confirmed. The said hosting gig will be Starstruck.

Willie Revillame to run as Vice President?
While people are urging the only son of national heroes Ninoy and Cory Aquino to run for higher office, news broke out that the Wowowee host, who was accused of desecrating the late President Cory is currently in contemplation of joining the vice presidential race.
Kris Aquino herself said in Showbiz News Ngayon that Willie Revillame is entertaining the thoughts of running for vice president.
Kris said that Willie was supposed to surprise her sons but unfortunately, they were not in their house. She further said that when she talked to Willie, she asked the latter if he would run for the second highest position in the land (more…)
