Angelica Panganiban, excited to reprise the title role Rubi

At last, talented young actress Angelica Panganiban was agiven a very good project by her mother studio ABS-CBN.  Unlike other female celebrities in the network who stars with their respective love interests, Angelica will be starring solely in her own title role.

Angelica will play the “bida-contrabida” role of the original Mexican telenovela Rubi. The title role was first played by Barbara Mori.

“Masaya ako, pero kinakabahan. Saka excited na akong makita ng viewers ‘yung kakaibang tim-pla sa soap opera na aking gagampanan. Ngayon, lalo akong nagiging inspired na ipakita ang best ko dahil sa sobrang katuwaang nararamdaman ko,” said Angelica.

On a personal note, I am excited to see Angelica playing Rubi.  It would seem so natural as Angelica has this desirable taray.
