Tulong Mula kay Manny Villar: Packed meals with his name on top of it

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

This blog is open to any legitimate agent or repesentative of Senator Manny Villar. You may e-mail me at pinoygossipboy@gmail.com.  This is not a hearsay, you can see my fingernail in the picture.  I just want to clarify things so that we can help people come up with an intelligent decision come election time.

DISCLAIMER: I am not employed by nor am I endorsing any politician right now. However, I don’t see it impossible that I would be working with some in the near future given the academic background I possess.

“Tulong Mula kay Manny Villar” Those are the words starving people would see as they open their packed meals. If not for the Manny Villar tagged packed meals, those in the evacuation centers would have none to eat.  It is great that Manny Villar was quick to send food. I wonder how many people volunteered into stamping those little piece of paper, which reads: “Tulong Mula kay Manny Villar.”

I am happy nonetheless that the people who are in the evacuation centers have something to eat.  Much more, I am happy that Manny Villar was able to mobilize volunteers into re-packing food and stamping Villar’s name on top of the packed food thereafter.

Again, thank you very much Senator Manny Villar.  The name-bearing-packed meals are higly appreciated.

Posted by micro at September 28, 2009, 10:04 am

I don’t really care if he managed to slip in his name while extending help to those in need.

Bottom line, may natulungan. Those little labels are nothing compared to the magnitude of the aid received. He and his volunteers have done far more to better the situation than the “commentaristas” sitting in front of TV (or PC) all day like they’re watching some damn telenovela, and exclaiming how horrible it all is, and then going to sleep in their warm beds without having lifted a finger to help.

we can not really say if those packed foods came from the senator but all the same salamat parin…pwede rin namang galing yan sa mga supporters na tumutulong.
i heard they are asking people to volunteer.probably it came from those people…
still salamat parin…it helped alot sa mga nasa evacuation centers…my sister was there and very thankful siya…

In campaigns, maraming volunteers na sumasali.
Meron din mga generous friends and mga nagdonate ng ready to distribute packed lunch, and we did not bother to check them kasi kailangan mabilisan ang galaw, so lagay lahat sa trucks.
It’s not the time to meddle in politics and magsiraan. You are more than welcome to give donations and/or join us in helping the Ondoy victims. Let us spread love not hate :) … thanks

What the hell??!
If it is true, it has something to do with politics or the election 2010. Sucks!

Villar Calls for a Review of National Disaster Preparedness Programs

The government should heed the threat of climate change that causes ‘megadisasters’ among others

Nacionalista Party President Senator Manny Villar filed Senate Resolution 1194 urging the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources to conduct an inquiry on the measures employed by the National Government in disaster management and preparedness programs with the end in view of directing concerned government bodies to consider emergency plans in dealing with the occurrence of threatening disasters and to allot substantial budget to facilitate the same.

To KITTEN:
the “commentaristas” are there to seek help from people who have TV’s and radios and para maging aware sila where to help, how to help and what to give. yung iba sa kanila have sent items to the people in need pero di nila sinasabi dahil hindi mo naman kailangan ipamuka sa taong tinutulungan mo na tumutulong ka, yun ang tunay na spirit of GIVING.
as for ATENEAN:
I commend Mr. Villar for his swift actions, pero hindi ba madaling magpasabi sa mga supporters nya na wag nang palagyan ng branding ang tulong para hindi magkaroon ng ganitong misconceptions?? i commend the people who give hundreds of thousands as donation pero withheld ang name.
guys, Helping is good, pero when it comes with Humility yun ang maituturing na genuine. wag na sanang haluan ng PR.

Did I disappoint you, or leave a bad taste in your mouth? - U2

This one certainly does.

..Let’s just look at the bright side at least tumoulong…suggestion lang pp kay Sen.
Example:
1. Getting celebrities as one of you senatorial line-up - (Willie Revillame)
2. Galing sa Hirap para sa mahirap slogan
3. labeling relief goods with your name on it.

that’s one thing that made Filipino politicians unique. taking advantage of every possible situation just so they could campaign and make “pabango” to the electorate.

with that manner that MV team did (whether hey deny it or not, it’s obvious), this i have to say:

“akala mo sincere, yun pala insincere.”

Eto personal na comment ko lang. I don’t care kung ano man ilagay ni Villar dyan. BUt shit it is., ayaw nyan mag sidukot ng pera.. tipid na tipid.. tapos pag nakaupo na saka kukurakot. We don’t care nhow big ang lalagay nyong mukha or name. Yan ang need namin labas!!! That way maraming matutulungan!!! I dare you all.. labas!! kung sino talaga ang tutulong!!! You are all politics we don’t care!! basta we choose the one that could extend the biggest help!! I dare you all!!

Posted by sniggish at October 1, 2009, 6:45 pm

A lot of people donated but they never put their names on what they gave. What’s more, news have been circulating that Villar’s dogs are re-packing donated goods and putting his name in it. That is not help. That is political opportunism. That is flagrant exploitation of other people’s misfortunes.

HATERS!!!!! HAHAHAHA yan ang CRAB MENTALITY at it’s finest! ano ba naitulong niyo na? puro kayo commento at dada.
kaya wala napapala pilipinas kasi dami niyong komento. puro negativity!

Posted by rosendo at October 1, 2009, 10:50 pm

Hello friends, I’m one of the many volunteers who helped in repacking goods in Star Mall. It was my first time. Just for curiosity I wanted to see how the office of Manny Villar would take me in, an outsider.

Maganda ang naging experience ko. Of course maraming goods. Sabi ng naging kaibigan kong volunteer, cute girl, Jenny, some of the goods were given by bigtime businessmen and delivered to his

So for this issue, I can only think of two scenarios:

2. SOME OF HIS SUPPORTERS wanted anonymity but wanted to get Villar the credit this putting his name. Ika nga ng titser ko “Good intentions lead the bad results.”

Btw, after the volunteering for two days, I’ve made up my mind and I will vote for him. I saw how his team works and it is perfectly what we need to make Philippines as progressive place.

Thank you Gossipboy.
