Katy Perry-David Archuleta benefit concert for Ondoy victims

UPDATE: For those questioning the veracity of this article, I got this from an MTV insider. Also, after a short while, Tim Yap made this public via one of his networking sites.

In lieu of Katy Perry’s postponed concert, MTV Philippines, producer of Katy’s concert “Katy Perry Live in Manila,” is planning to hold a benefit concert instead. Joining Katy is American Idol runner-up David Archuleta.

Apparently, this is what they described to be the “bigger and better” version of the postponed concert.

According to MTV Philippines, the net proceeds of the benefit concert will go to the Philippine Red Cross. The concert will be held on November 14, 2009. However, the date is still tentative.

swerte di pa kasi ganun ka benta ang concert kaya swerte talaga now kasama pa si archuleta considering parang sinalo nya pa si katy although katy is really talentede and hot also popular iba pa rin ang hatid ni archie at cook last time. I was there and sevral times on there mall promotions grabe talaga. and the concert bata matanda babae lalake bading tomboy lahat. maybe sinama na ;ang din talaga nila si archie pero di pa ito sinasabi ni archie sa twitter account nya so not yet confirmed ang MTV.
