Thursday, September 3rd, 2009excerpts from MB.com.ph by Jocelyn Valle
Jolina Magdangal was not informed that she’s no longer a co-host of the forthcoming fifth season of “StarStruck,” making her feel “shocked and disappointed.”
This is according to the singer, actress and TV host’s father and manager, Jun Magdangal, when sought by Manila Bulletin Online on Sept. 2 for reaction to issues about Jolina that cropped up while she was in Hawaii to sing the Philippine national anthem at Brian Viloria’s successful defense of his light flyweight title.
“When [‘StarStruck 5’] teasers came out, I asked [the people behind the production] for [Jolina’s] schedule but I was surprised to be told that she is no longer a co-host,” (more…)

Nikki Gil destroyed Billi Crawford’s career?

Rumors are circulating that singer-actress Nikki Gil is the reason why boyfriend Billy Crawford’s international career was placed in the backseat. But the former soft drink commercial endorser was quick to vindicate herself from the unfair write-ups.
Obviously, Billy is now head over heels in love with Nikki, and it looks like, he cannot have it in exchange for anything in this world.
But Nikki is quick to counter it.

I Told You So: Mar Roxas ends presidential bid
Tuesday, September 1st, 2009
Although I was in school taking a quiz on Property with a bar placer professor, I still got the news on time that former presidential aspirant Mar Roxas backed out from the presidential race.
I do not want to say this, but I TOLD YOU SO!
I have previously posted, and it was among the firsts, that Mar Roxas is willing to slide down to Vice President. Many doubted my observation saying that I AM JUST A GOSSIP BLOGGER. Well, at least I proved them wrong. Moreover, I have proven myself worthy of that political science diploma.

Place your bets: Mar-Noynoy or Noynoy-Mar?

My Twitter buddies (yes, they followed me back!) Manuel L. Quezon III of The Explainer and Jove Francisco of The Evening News tweeted that there will be a very big political announcement coming from Senator Mar Roxas later at 6pm in Club Filipino in Greenhills, San Juan.
This political announcement concerns Liberal Party’s strategy in the upcoming presidential race. A very reliable source told me that Mar Roxas and Noynoy Aquino will be sticking to each other.
I know a political science degree would come in handy in running a gossip blog. Gossip does not only revolve around showbiz, right? For the upcoming political posts, I’ll try to be scholarly, incorporating what my professors taught me in my four years stay in UP undergrad and two years stay in UP Law. Haha.
Place your bets now in the comment section. Do you think it would be Mar-Noynoy or Noynoy-Mar?
