ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID "Star ng Pasko" analysis with Juday appearing "last"

Ever since I was a child, I enjoyed watching station ID’s from both ABS-CBN and GMA-7. For me, station ID’s gague a star’s importance in the network. Usually, it is the biggest star who is shown last or together with Charo Santos-Concio, in the case of ABS-CBN. For the past years, Dolphy had been the mainstay in the latter part of the ID and there is no doubt that he is indeed among the biggest stars in ABS-CBN. What is more intriguing is who among the younger set of stars would appear last in the music video.

And alas, Judy Ann Santos was the last star to appear solo in the music video. Although it was KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual who were featured first singing the ID theme song, it was Juday who was given the honor of appearing last. And please correct me if I’m wrong, but noticeably absent was Claudine Barretto. Or was she there? I also didn’t see Kris Aquino. I don’t know, but I had this impression of who appears last is the most significant since I was, uhm, six? Zaijian Jaranilla also appeared beside Charo which sends the impression that he is among the most prized money-makers.

Also, the station ID is the biggest clue on what will be the upcoming shows of a network. For instance, Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz appeared together, meaning they would do a series together. Angelica Panganiban appeared solo, meaning she would do a solo starrer, which is the title role Rubi.

THE TWO LAST APPEARING KAPAMILYA STARS IN ABS-CBN’S CHRISTMAS STATION ID ARE BEA ALONZO AND JUDY ANN SANTOS.

i didn’t saw MS. KRIS AQUINO and MS. CLAUDINE BARETTO. bakit kaya? baka they just busy then.

I’m a fan of Juday and I’m happy that she is the last star that appears on the Video-ID of 2. But Ryan Agoncillo is missing, didn’t see Kris and Claudine too.

I’m happy to see Mylene Dizon and Christine Reyes on the video (thought they were already Kapuso!)

Great lyrics and melody. The video is inspiring as it sends a lot of positive meaning to every Filipino (most especially). ABS-CBN is indeed the best station, which always works above average, from movies, TV Series, Programs and even to their simple ID.

Excellent work Channel 2, Congratulations to you.

For me,parang sobra iksi ng exposure ng other artist,kasi mas nafocus kay KC ang ibang seconds na dapat mabigay sa iba,nakailang ulit pa para sa kanya…why?does she needs more exposure?

may part 2 pa ang xmas station id ng abs,kasama si kristine hermosa,jericho rosales,sharon cuneta,kris aquino with baby james,john estada,ted failon,henry umaga diaz and lorna tolentino….wala si claudine bkit?

i am happy ive seen ms. gloria romero because sometime she is not included in the station id!
and i didnot see the diamond star!

uu nga eh, baket kaya wala si ms. Kris Aquino sa station id nila this year? as far as i know, one of the important star si Kris ng abs, pero baket wala sya?

anyways, ganda naman nung song saka yung first part kung saan namumulot ng parol yung batang lalaki and the part ng simbahan is dito shinooting sa Doña Pepeng San Mateo, Rizal. I was there when they were filming those scenes (being an usisero haha)
