Ogie, to sing in ex-wife’s wedding?

Ogie  Alcasid can’t help but to shed tears when recorded messages from his daughters Leila and Sarah were played in SOP during Fathers’ Day.  It had been a long time since the singer-songwriter last saw his daughters as he is preoccupied with a handful of showbiz commitments.

 The singer-songwriter did not deny his knowledge of ex-wife Michelle van Eimeren’s forthcoming wedding to Mark Murrow.  According to Ogie, he held it in secrecy so as to protect Michelle’s privacy.

 Ogie also admitted that he will have a part in the forthcoming wedding but was so reluctant to give the pertinent details.  Many speculated that he will be singing in the said wedding.

Jake Cuenca, hypochondriac?

A reliable source informed me that Jake Cuenca had incurred minor bruises from the taping of his current show.  In spite of the minuteness of the incident, Jake insisted in being rushed to the emergency room.

A spectator commented that the bruises Jake got were just “galos” and could easily be treated with antiseptics. Yet, the young “actor” insisted of going to the hospital. So much for portraying a PMAer.

Hypochondriac much, eh? Well, if you earn big bucks with that physique, better invest on it much. Get well soon Jake. I am wishing for your bruises’ speedy recovery, Jake.

Is Roxanne Guinoo, rude?

It has been reported that John Estrada and Roxanne Guinoo had a little argument during the taping of “Everybody Hapi.”  According to the article, John lectured Roxanne on not leaving the set early due to “other” engagements.  The more veteran actor reprimanded the reality-search runner-up by saying that she should be dedicated to their show and not to leave for another commitment until their taping packs up.

Going crazy with prints!

I love prints. I love them in various shapes and sizes.  To bad, It is very hard to find somethingthat you truly like. Good thing my dear friend introduced me to Shepard Fairey.

True indeed, they have nice prints. Shepard Fairey Prints have almost all the prints you want in almost all niches. Their designs are very unique.

Aside from that, Shepard Fairey Art can be bought at the lowest price. They sure do offer products at a very minimal cost! I can’t wait to purchase my own set of prints!

The fabulous Myrtle Beach

As usual, my friend who is now based in the U.S. called me via Skype.  She told me that since they missed so much the beaches, they will be going to this fabulous Myrtle Beach Resort in South Carolina. 

Just so you know, South Carolina boasts of its wonderful Myrtle Beach Resorts.

Yesterday was indeed a very interesting day. I was able to chat online with my bestfriend who is currently living abroad.  She asked me that she enjoys watching shows but she usually get ran out of tickets.  She wanted to watch in the famous Mellon Arena. I told her that there is a convenient way to get Mellon Arena Tickets.

During  the launch of GMA soap Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Lahat Sa Akin, the first question asked by the press was whether Patrick Garcia and Glaiza de Castro were indeed an item.  The two were among the four major stars in the soap, which also includes Maxene Magalona and JC Tiuseco.

 “It’s not true, good friends lang kami. I’m afraid to fall in love. If ever, I’d like to fall in love with the right one. Besides, I don’t look for love, I let love find me,” answered Patrick.

He also denied rumors that he was about to quit the industry.

Looking for musical instruments

My cousin called me up yesterday asking for some help.  He enlisted in their school’s marching band, albeit undecided which musical instrument to to take. So I just told him that I will try searching online.

He told me that there are various instruments in their marching band.  The most popular ones are the trumpets and the saxophones. The least in number are the drums.

Premiere comedienne Pokwang had expressed her apology to MTRCB Chairperson Ma. Consoliza P. Laguardia through a letter dated June 15^th 2009.  The contents of the said letter are as follow:

“Dear Madam:

 Thank you for inviting me to your office this afternoon, to discuss my use of boxing gloves bearing a representation of the Philippine flag during the June 12, 2009 broadcast of the program Wowowee.
I wish to reiterate the apology I made du­ring the same broadcast, immediately after I was advised that I should not have used the gloves as part of my costume for Independence Day.
